What Do Our Clients Say About Worcester Child Therapy?

“My daughter was suffering from being bullied in school and became very anxious. She was withdrawing from activities she’d previously loved, lost confidence in her abilities, getting upset very easily, and wasn’t able to sleep. I discovered NLP via Facebook of all places!  I then had a call with one of the co-founders and I got such a good feeling about NLP, that I decided to meet Jo with my daughter. My daughter instantly liked Jo, and I felt very confident about her abilities to work with my daughter. Learning the anchor technique has been exceptionally helpful, and she’s used it quite a few times. The change in my daughter has been phenomenal, I feel like I have my bubbly, happy, cheeky child back. She’s sleeping well, much more focused and is finding enjoyment in activities and social situations again.”

“Evie was struggling with anxiety and worrying, in particular at bedtime. She would repeatedly get out of bed shaking worried that something bad was going to happen. She was unable to relax and was very fidgety throughout the day due to unsettled nights and was avoiding activities that she would usually enjoy. She also experienced two panic attacks.
We chose NLP as we liked the idea of giving Evie tools to use to manage anxiety and panic rather than just talking about her worries. We felt this would help her to manage her feelings herself when we can’t be there for instance at school or a friends house.
Evie found that learning about different techniques to manage anxiety and that anxiety is completely normal was the most useful part of her sessions. She also felt listened to and supported.
Since the sessions we have seen a huge change in Evie. She is managing any times of anxiety really well using her techniques. We no longer have panicking at bedtime, if she does feel worried about something it is quickly resolved before it escalates and she is going to bed much calmer. She is much more positive and confident within herself and has really started to enjoy life again.”

“Millie has had an absolutely fantastic first two weeks at secondary school. She has been confident and resilient and just generally great! She loves the fact she can eat lunch where she wants and has coped with getting off the bus in the wrong place three nights in a row. She has made some nice new friends and stayed in touch with her best friend from primary school. Thank you so much for all your work with her, it really did help!”

“Ava had mild level anxiety which she coped with by having panic attacks. I chose NLP because I had used it in the past for my own anxiety with great success. Ava found investigating her problems and establishing anchors that helped her deal with them so useful, thus preventing panic attacks and developing her confidence.
Since having NLP sessions with Jo Ava hasn’t had a panic attack! This is huge as she was having at least 1 a week and getting very down about it. She knows how to stop them if they do rear their ugly head as she has figured out how she feels just before she has one so can start using the techniques you have given her then to prevent them. She has also dealt with a bully at school on her own with the help of the year head.”
